On a day to day basis, all you need to do is wipe them down with a moist cloth and your favourite mild detergent. For more stubborn marks such as fruit juice or coffee, leave the detergent to soak on the surface for a little while before rinsing thoroughly.  Gloss worksurfaces require a little more care. After cleaning with detergent and water as described above, buff over the surface with a clean, dry soft cloth to maintain its glossy looks. Please never ever use scouring powders or abrasive pads on any worksurface as they can damage the surface.
